Shipping Policy

SHIPPING & FULFILLMENT POLICY

At Lagom Home Boutique, all our pieces are offered on a pre-order basis, with a lead time of 8 to 12 weeks. This is because our furniture is entirely handcrafted with care and precision by skilled artisans in Central Java, Indonesia, before being exported to Malaysia.

We are not a mass-production brand — we focus on quality, timeless design, and craftsmanship. Each piece is made with intention, using solid teak wood, to ensure it lasts for decades.

Your order will be carefully handmade after payment confirmation. Once production is complete, we will notify you with shipping and delivery updates.

GENERAL DELIVERY TERMS

These terms apply to standard deliveries:

  • If your order cannot be delivered within the estimated timeline, we will notify you promptly and provide a revised delivery estimate.
  • In the rare event your item is damaged in transit, we will ship a replacement at no additional cost. Please note that production and delivery time for the replacement will be in addition to the original order timeline.
  • If you need to change your delivery date, please contact our team at customercare@lagomhomeboutique.my at least 7 days in advance. Rescheduling with less notice may incur an additional delivery fee.
  • Please inform us in advance of any special delivery requirements (e.g., narrow roads, high-rise building access, elevator booking, restricted delivery hours). If delivery fails or is rescheduled due to uncommunicated requirements, any extra delivery fees will be charged to the customer.
  • An authorized adult must be present during delivery to inspect the items and sign the delivery receipt. A missed delivery will result in additional charges for re-delivery.
  • Customers are responsible for protecting their property during delivery. We recommend preparing your space with blankets or floor protection. Lagom Home Boutique is not liable for damage to flooring, walls, or other surfaces.
  • Our delivery partners are not authorized to move existing furniture or handle electrical equipment.

RECEIVING & INSPECTING YOUR DELIVERY

To ensure a smooth delivery process, please follow the steps below:

  1. Once your order arrives, you must confirm the delivery by sending us a photo of the received package.

  2. Unboxing must be recorded on video from start to finish. This is mandatory for us to process any claim related to damage or missing items.

  3. Check that the item is correct and inspect it for any visible damage.

  4. If there is any issue, please report it immediately to customercare@lagomhomeboutique.my and attach the video and photos.
