This website is operated by Lagom Home Boutique. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Lagom Home Boutique. Lagom Home Boutique offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our Service and agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”), including any additional terms, policies, and conditions referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, merchants, and contributors of content.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access the website or use any services.

Any new features or tools added to the current store shall also be subject to these Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions by posting updates on our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides us with the e-commerce platform allowing us to sell our products and services.

SECTION 1 – ONLINE STORE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence, or that you have given consent for any minor dependents to use this site.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, nor may you violate any laws in your jurisdiction, including copyright laws.

Any breach or violation of these Terms may result in immediate termination of services.

SECTION 2 – GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

You understand that non-credit-card content may be transferred unencrypted across various networks. Credit card information is always encrypted during transmission.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without our express written permission.

Headings are included for convenience only and do not limit or affect these Terms.

SECTION 3 – FORCE MAJEURE

Lagom Home Boutique shall not be held liable for any delay, failure, or interruption in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Such events include, but are not limited to: natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, fires), pandemics or public health emergencies, government actions or regulations, port congestion, labour strikes, transportation disruptions, acts of war, civil unrest, or other unforeseen events beyond our control.

In such cases, delivery timelines may be extended without penalty, and Lagom Home Boutique shall not be liable for any resulting loss, damage, or inconvenience.

SECTION 4 – DAMAGE CLAIMS & UNBOXING VIDEO REQUIREMENT

To be eligible for any damage-related claim, replacement, or refund, customers must provide a full, continuous unboxing video.

The unboxing video must be recorded in one uninterrupted take (no cuts, pauses, edits, or restarts), starting from the moment the external packaging is first opened until the product is fully revealed. The video must clearly show:

  • the outer packaging

  • the inner packaging

  • the product condition

  • any visible damage

If a complete and continuous unboxing video is not provided, the claim may be rejected, as the cause of damage cannot be independently verified.

All damage claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

SECTION 5 – SHIPPING & DELIVERY TERMS

Estimated delivery timelines provided on the website, during checkout, or by our team are indicative only and may vary depending on production time, logistics conditions, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Lagom Home Boutique shall not be held responsible for delays caused by third-party logistics providers or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Delivery is considered completed once the order has been delivered to the address provided by the customer and handed over to the recipient or an authorised party at the delivery location.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery details (address, contact number, recipient availability, and access instructions) are accurate and complete. Any additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information may be charged to the customer.

Delivery Access & Site Conditions

Customers must ensure the delivery location is reasonably accessible (e.g., suitable road access, parking availability, lift access where applicable, and compliance with building management rules). If special arrangements are required (stairs carry, crane or lifting services, restricted delivery windows, etc.), any additional costs may be billed to the customer.

Shipping Costs & Additional Fees

Shipping costs are handled as follows:

  • West Malaysia: Free delivery

  • East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak): Shipping fees apply and will be communicated prior to order confirmation

Additional charges resulting from special delivery requests, remote area surcharges, re-delivery attempts, or failed deliveries due to customer unavailability may be billed separately.

Risk of Loss & Receipt of Goods

Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon successful delivery of the goods.

Customers are strongly advised to inspect the packaging and product immediately upon delivery and to record a full unboxing video in accordance with Section 4. Any visible damage, missing items, or issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery together with the required unboxing video, failing which the claim may be rejected.

SECTION 6 – ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS & TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION

We are not responsible if information on this site is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. The material is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon without consulting more accurate sources.

We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time without obligation to update information.

SECTION 7 – MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE & PRICES

Prices are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We shall not be liable for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuation.

SECTION 8 – PRODUCTS OR SERVICES

Certain products may be available exclusively online and in limited quantities. Returns or exchanges are governed strictly by our Return & Refund Policy.

We make every effort to display product images accurately, but we cannot guarantee exact colour representation on all screens.

We reserve the right to limit or refuse sales on a case-by-case basis and to discontinue any product at any time.

Natural Product Variation & Handcrafted Disclaimer

Our furniture is handcrafted from natural materials, including solid teak wood, rattan, loom, and marble. By purchasing our products, you acknowledge and accept that variations are inherent to these materials and are not considered defects. These may include differences in colour tone, grain pattern, knots, minor blemishes, small fill holes, and natural wood movement.

Due to humidity and temperature changes, solid wood may expand or contract over time, and minor hairline cracks may occur. These are natural characteristics of solid wood.

Handcrafted Measurements

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, slight dimensional variations may occur (for example, up to 3.0 cm). This is not considered a defect.

SECTION 9 – BILLING & ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

Order Acceptance & Contract Formation

All orders placed through the website constitute an offer to purchase. A binding contract for sale is formed only when we send an Order Confirmation confirming that your order has been accepted. We reserve the right to decline any order prior to issuing the Order Confirmation.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current purchase and account information and to promptly update your details as needed. Full payment (including any applicable delivery charges) is required before production or delivery commences.

SECTION 10 – OPTIONAL TOOLS

We may provide access to third-party tools “as is” and “as available” without warranties. Use of such tools is entirely at your own risk.

SECTION 11 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS

We are not responsible for third-party websites or materials linked from our site. Any concerns regarding third-party products should be directed to the respective provider.

SECTION 12 – USER COMMENTS & FEEDBACK

By submitting content to us, you grant us the right to use, edit, publish, and distribute it without restriction or compensation.

You agree that your comments will not violate any third-party rights or contain unlawful material.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lagom Home Boutique shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service or products.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lagom Home Boutique and its affiliates from any claims arising from your breach of these Terms or violation of any law.

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Lagom Home Boutique and supersede all prior agreements.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

SECTION 22 – CHANGES TO TERMS & CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
